Ovenbaked Oatmeal with Maple Syrup

(Serves 4 – 6)


1 1/2 cups oatmeal
1/4 cup almonds, slivered
2 tbsp maple sugar
2 tbsp maple syrup
1 dash salt
3 cups milk (use soymilk, almond milk or another vegan alternative)
Dash of ground cinnamon


Preheat oven to 350 F.

Grease an 8 inch square baking dish and add oatmeal, almonds, maple sugar, maple syrup and salt. Add milk and mix well.

Cook in a preheated oven for about 40 minutes or until milk has been absorbed and the oatmeal is soft. Sprinkle with cinnamon and serve immediately.
